Settling In...

Well its been just over two weeks since we brought our new baby boy home and so far, so good everything is going really well. He is SUCH a different baby to Saxon and is fitting into our now family of 4 very well.

I have been very lucky and recieved some beautiful flowers and some lovely gifts since the birth of Xavier and would also like to say a BIG Thank you! for everybody's well wishes and kind thoughts...

We were lucky enough to recieve some beautiful prints from Amanda from TwinkleStarArt (my pics dont really do them justice) but please go and check out Amanda's fantastic shop. We also got some lovely bibs to use 'for good' and a little Loxie pattern from the very talented Ali from Jellygnite as well as lots of other lovely gifts (this little man definitley has enough clothes to change outfits a couple of times a day ;)

Sax is getting on really well with his baby brother :) (Yep I gave in and Xav has a dummy, sometimes :(
We got the pics taken at the hospital in the mail this week and its amazing how much like Saxon, Xavier looks, it will be interesting to see how he changes in the next few months or if he continues to look like Sax?

We also go to meet Em's beautiful new baby boy this week, Elijah John (sorry no new pics, I forgot to take my camera) He is just lovely and it will be really nice to watch our second lot of boys grow up together alongside the 'big boys' ;)

Have a happy weekend and take care

Bel x

Welcoming.... Elijah John :)

Hi All

Just wanted to let you all know that Em and her family welcomed their beautiful baby boy into the world yesterday. Elijah John arrived at 10.13am Wednesday 24th June weighing 3355g and 50cm in length. Mum and Bub doing very well :)
As you can see from the pics, Lucas is a very proud BIG brother!
Hopefully Xavier and I will get to go and give him a big hug today (I am leaving Sax at home, no extra energy to chase a 2 year old around the hospital at the moment ;)

In our household all is going really well, so hard to believe that Xavier is 2 weeks old today. I will share some more pics as soon as I get a spare 5 mins.

Take care, Bel xx

What's behind your bathroom door?

Ok,
All I can say is "Oh My Goodness"

hehe, last night my little family of 3 (soon to be 4) went over to Bel's bigger family of 4's home for a bbq, a catch up and a few more newbie cuddles.

I decided to sneak in to the ensuite for a quick freshen up, and to my suprise..... look what I found behind the bathroom door!!!

Bel you are such a goddess! And Brad, what a husband!
take care everyone, hope you have a good weekend

Newborn Baby Cuddles - just the best thing

Lucas and I got to meet little Xavier today and have newbie cuddles with him. I am just so smitten with this perfectly tiny, quiet (so far) little man.

What a fabulous creation you guys have made Bel & Brad! - you sure do make cute kids, just look at Xavier's bigger brother Sax ;-)

I got a special cocoon and hat knitted by one of my friends Celia for Xavier and we had to try them on and have a mini photo shoot, he looked so warm and snuggly!

The Big boys did really well today, until it got to the end of our visit when they were both getting a bit tired, it was like watching two male dogs mark their territory over and over again on the same tree! One would stroke Xaviers finger, the other would have to copy and so on! It was cute. Isn't it amazing how little minds work.

All the best to Bel, Brad & Sax and may little Xavier bring more love and laughter into your beautifully warm home.

All my love
Em xx

Welcome to the world "Xavier Charles"

Yesterday I saw Bel for the first time in about 2wks, that is a long time for us! the boys had a nice play and I decided that it was important that we had a photo taken with our "bumps" as we hadn't gotten around to taking any! whoops :-)

Well, guess what happened today?! Little Xavier Charles decided it was time to come - Yippee
I will let Bel fill you in on all the details when she is back online, but I thought I would share this little picture of one of God's greatest creations.

Xavier Charles - 7pd7oz 51cm

After I knew Bel was on the way to the hospital this morning, my little bubba decided to start wriggling around, I was sure that Bean wanted to "race". Not long now before another little miracle joins us, wonder if it will be a pinky or a bluie ;-)

ABC of Cake Decorating

Guess what Bel & I have been doing for the past couple of months on a Wednesday night at TAFE??
The ABC of Cake Decorating course.
We have had a great time and learned how to cover with White Icing and how to pipe and make borders and flowers with Royal Icing!!
Watch this space for Christening cakes when the bubs get a bit older! ;-)
Here are the pictures of the cakes of the "Graduating Class"

hope you are all having a good week~!

My Terrarium Miniatures have arrived

Can you hear me squeeling in delight from your place?

Well you should be able to ! My terrarium minis arrived today, and they are the cutest little things you have ever seen.
They were made by the lovely Lauren from raspberry pink, check out her other customs on her blog, very cute!
Here is the little gnome and his wishing well

and here are the toadstools (one with lady bug)
and a tiny little birdie (can you spot him top left?)

I know these photos really suck because it is night time and the flash keeps going off, but just had to share tonight and I will promise to take some better photos in the light of day and share them too

Take care everyone
