Happy Birthday!

It's hard to believe Saxon is 3 years old today...

It feels like he has been apart of our family forever and it is hard to remember the time before he arrived. If only someone had of told me before we had him all the things we were missing out on I would have laughed out loud, but now I don't know what I would do with out him (even on those trying days) he has filled a hole on our lives that I guess we never knew needed filling and has made Brad and I better people for it.

A'hoy there me hearties!!!

Well an absolutley great day was had by one and all on Saturday! Sax had such a great time, all the kids played really well together and my Cupcakes and Ginger Pirates were a hit! We were very lucky we had the party on Saturday as it has been raining ever since Saturday night and our backyard was under a couple in inches if water Sunday morning...

It was so cute to see all the kids dressed up and they all sat still for a whole 5 secs while I explained the rules of the treasure hunt :)
Still can't believe Sax will be 3 years old tomorrow, feels like only yesterday we were excited to find out we were having a baby

I will be back later with some more icing pics, I was inspired yesterday and have created a new 'pirate party set' which will be in the shop this week

Happy Days...

Today I had one of those exhausting but rewarding days. It is Saxon's 3rd birthday party tomorrow and he chose a pirate theme, so today I made some super cute priate cupcakes and a skull and cross bones cake.

I am SO happy with how these little guys turned out and wish now that I had done more than 12...
But seeing as I was so happy with how they turned out I thought I would have a quick play and make up a proto type cake topper for my Enticing Icing store, so stay tuned for these little guys to be listed in the next few weeks. Well we now have a finished Cubby and one very happy nearly 3 year old...

It's pirate mayhem around our place today, the oven is warming and I am about to start making the cupcakes and chocolate crackles. No lolly bags this year, but I am going to try and do some pirate inspired gingerbread men for the kids to take home, wish me luck ;)

Introducing... Enticing Icing

Hi All

Well I have been dying to share with you my new ETSY store but have just been waiting until I had everything up and running just right, so without further ado I would like to introduce you to Enticing Icing ...
I have always loved baking and making desserts (something I get from my nan) but I was looking for a way to take my cakes to the next level when I discovered how to make sugar creations and the ideas have blossomed from there.
Hopefully I will be able to help the everyday cook turn there cupcakes and desserts into something extra special too :)
