Look what we found...
On a quick dash out to the veggie garden this afternoon I had a lovely surprise...
I was so excited to see that the passionfruit vine that we planted only a few months ago has about 20 ripening passionfruits on it!
My father in law only told me a few weeks ago when we told him there were lots of flowers appearing not to be surprised if they all fall off and we don't get any fruit for at least 12 months, so it really was a nice surprise indeed.
Any tips anyone has on growing passionfruit would be greatly appreciated ;)

Under the Sea Collection
Over the Easter break I took the opportunity to start working on some new creations. One thing that I have had a few requests for lately are fish toppers and sea 'themed' toppers so with that in mind my new collection 'Under the Sea' was made...

I love seeing what uses people put my toppers to, so it was a lovely surprise to see the beautiful pictures that Steph from Bondville posted over at her blog about the cakes she made to take to a friends little girls birthday party.
I was also lucky enough to win 3 months advertising on the Bondville Blog for enticing icing after having a lovely few 'kid free' hours out of the house recently to attend the March ABCD Meetup and adding my icing goodies to the ever popular 'goodie bag'. Hosted by Steph Bond (Bondville) and Kim Wallace (Udessi), Brisbane ABCD (Artists + Bloggers + Crafters + Designers) Meetup is a chance for art, design and craft bloggers to get out from behind their computers and meet face-to-face at a casual quarterly get-together. Family Time :)
Well in between all the hecticness (is that even a word?) over the last couple of weeks I have been trying to take a step back and spend some more time just hanging out with the family :)
Last weekend we meet up with some friends and took Sax Ice Skating and he had a ball. It was so inspiring to watch our not so little boy try something new with no fear at all.
Xavier even had a great time. It was one of the first times he had ever worn a hat (plus sleeve and socks) and he thought it was hilarious.
In keeping up with the taking it easy mode we decided to go for a drive this afternoon as it felt like we have been sitting around eating (mainly chocolate) all weekend, and we ended up down at Jacobs Well by the water.
Sax had a great time chasing the little waves...
Although note to self, whenever taking an energetic 3 year anywhere near a large open body of water make sure to pack a full set of spare clothes.
Not to be outdone and keeping up with the easter theme, Xavier got his first tooth through last week (its really there, that little white dot under his upper lip) and a second one this weekend (just so that he could complete he's Easter Bunny impression)
