At my house...

Things are good at our place this week (we'll as good as it gets in our crazy chaotic house). I am trying to be a little more relaxed this week and not stress too much about this little things. Reading Lou's post yesterday really brought it all home for me and is one of the reasons why I LOVE reading her heartwarming, honest blog! its always nice to be reminded your not alone.

So yesterday we left the housework behind us and went shopping, caught up with some lovely friends, had some lunch, the boys had a play, got a few jobs on the 'to do' list done and all in all it was a great morning. I even treated myself to a pair of new shoes (I have a bit of a shoe fetish, its inherited really my mum is much worse than me but that's another story for another day)
While the little one slept yesterday afternoon I made up some yummy desserts using some of those Passionfruits we have at the moment. It was super easy and with only 6 ingredients with stuff I normally have in the pantry anyway it was sure to be a winner. We are also having fun this week having a different coloured bath each night. Thanks again Lou for another great idea!
What's happening at your house this week? Make sure you pop over here to read some more 'At my house' and join along if you wish

I am off to work now, Bel x

  1. Thanks for the lovely comment about my blog Bel. I'm glad you had such a nice day yesterday. Sounds like a lovely mix of jobs and pleasure. Dessert looks absolutely delicious!

Also can't take full credit for the coloured baths. We do have them at our house still very regularly but got the idea from my sister Emma.

Thanks so much for joining in again. It was lovely to visit your house. Lou.

  3. LOVE the shoes Dorothy! All you need to do is close your eyes, tap your heels together three times, and chant "There's no place like home." Or does that only work with red shoes?
