More enticing icing Parties...

A few more enticing icing parties, I just had to share with you!

Super cute Elijah recently turned one with a Dinosaur inspired themed birthday and what a cute little Dino he made too ;)These little frogs ventured all the way over to the US to help a joint birthday shared between two one year olds...
I was super excited to create an 'Alice' inspired mini topper set for a very cute little girls 4th birthday party...

And last but definitely not least, this Masquerade Ball Inspired set helped a local Brissy girl celebrate her birthday in style...
More too come so stay tuned...

The week that was...

Well its been one of those full on weeks at our place... Sunday was Xavier and Elijah's Christening and it was a really lovely service and great day shared with our friends and family :) (I dont have any pics of Elijah but will get Em to post some soon ;)The week was spent hanging out with my brother and doing some op shopping. I picked up and old metal Janome sewing machine for only $30 (so now I just have to brush up on my sewing skills) as well as some other cool finds, including an old tea towel my brother brought for me which I am going to frame and hang in our house. I was also lucky enough to spend some crafty time with my super talented Bro and get a headstart on making some stock for the BrisStyle Indie Designers Market coming up on December 5th.

Talking of framing I had the surprise of my life this week when I received an email from the lovely Alicea from Bespoke Press to say that I was the winner of their amazing giveaway of 10 limited edition Prints. I never win ANYTHING, so to not only win but to receive this amazing prize as you can imagine I was pretty excited!!! You can view the entire range via their website or shop

Em and I also got the chance to catch up a couple of times this week which was really nice as we really haven't had the chance to hang out as much as we use to lately. Our little ones were happy just hanging around
While their older brothers did some Caterpillar making with my brother Brett
Today I went and hung out with the super cool Brown Owls girls and got the chance to make some really cute little paper dolls and the amazing Sam from Jettas nest brought along an order for Em and I for some onesies and T-shirts for our boys. If you are looking for a one off gift for a little boy you know make sure you go and visit Sam's shop to see her unbelievable work!
All in all even though I am really exhausted this week it was so nice to just spend some time with friends and family enjoying each others company and some good food...
Take care, Bel x

Sunday Shadow Shot #43

Well I got up a little bit early this morning just to enjoy some peace and quiet, to listen to the noises of my boys sleeping and actually enjoy a cup of tea while it was still hot without a baby in my arms and a little man trying to see whats in my cup. But as always happens I turned on my computer and got side tracked... The 2 year is now awake and has gone in to wake up his dad but I am still going to attempt to get this post finished before the baby starts stirring to the morning noises ;)

This week our shadow shot is of our 2 oldest boys playing in the park, Em and I had a really lovely time this week taking the boys to a new park and letting them explore. Even though we still didn't really get a chance to have a proper chat (our husbands can't understand why even if we see each other during the day we can still spend an hour on the phone in the afternoon) between chasing little boys, explaining proper playground ettiquette, handing out snacks and settling the little ones it was still great watching the older boys interact and play nice (most of the time). To see more amazing shadows or the join in the fun go to HeyHarriets Blog!
I also had to share this one, they had such a great time...
Not forgetting the little ones, they too got to 'catch up' a few weeks ago. This isn't the best of pics but I promise we will take some more while they are still little and this time I will remember to take Xav out of his wrap (it's hard to believe Xavier is 8 weeks old already!)
Don't forget to check out the BrisStyle blog for all full list of shops participating in the ETSY EKKA Extravaganza! and also make sure you check out the latest giveaways from Elvenhair and SharlzndDollz
Take care and hope you are all having a lovely weekend, we are off to the bowling alley today (should provide some interesting entertainment)

Shadow Shot #41

Hi everyone,

What a lovely winter's day we have had here today!! gorgeous weather, not too chilly with lovely soul warming sun.

Life here has been going so quickly, Elijah will be a month old this wednesday! wow. Unfortunatley we have all had a bout of the flu and that has knocked us around a bit, but are all now pretty much germ free! yippee!

My Shadow Shot for today was taken in our kitchen, it is the shadows being cast by our lovely stools...

Now, do you remember those cute little chickens that we brought home from kindy at the end of April?? Guess what... I jagged it! They are all hens (listen to the whoot) anyways, here is a picture of how big they are now, hopefully not long until the girls start laying us some lovely fresh eggs.

Have a great weekend everyone, off to the lounge for me to make some more Kittys.

xEm
