Family Time :)

Well in between all the hecticness (is that even a word?) over the last couple of weeks I have been trying to take a step back and spend some more time just hanging out with the family :)

Last weekend we meet up with some friends and took Sax Ice Skating and he had a ball. It was so inspiring to watch our not so little boy try something new with no fear at all.Xavier even had a great time. It was one of the first times he had ever worn a hat (plus sleeve and socks) and he thought it was hilarious.In keeping up with the taking it easy mode we decided to go for a drive this afternoon as it felt like we have been sitting around eating (mainly chocolate) all weekend, and we ended up down at Jacobs Well by the water.Sax had a great time chasing the little waves...Although note to self, whenever taking an energetic 3 year anywhere near a large open body of water make sure to pack a full set of spare clothes.
Not to be outdone and keeping up with the easter theme, Xavier got his first tooth through last week (its really there, that little white dot under his upper lip) and a second one this weekend (just so that he could complete he's Easter Bunny impression)

Shadow Shot #6

In keeping with my previous shadows I thought I should include another member of our family, our very old (14 years) and grey staffy named Jessie :) She was quite confused at what I was trying to do and was not complying with the original shot I had in mind of a full body shadow against the fence (plus Sax was trying to ride her like a horse) but I think you will agree she is a beautiful girl!To see more of the SSS shots make sure you visit here
